ICS-Global

The International Center for Scheduling (ICS or ICS-Global) is your one-stop shop for all things scheduling. Our internal motto is: "If it involves Scheduling, then ICS is involved." As the name implies, ICS is the center for all facets of construction project planning and scheduling. Whatever your needs, ICS will have a response. ICS is a for-profit company; not a non-profit organization.

A Comprehensive Approach

The initial catalyst for ICS was an early view of the Scheduling Practice landscape, across which we noted that, while much good work had been done -- by professional organizations, corporate trainers, for-profit consultants, software vendors, and academic institutions and authors -- each entity was addressing only a part of the Big Picture. In response, ICS conceived of the divisions in the left panel, as a way to not only cover the entire specturm of the Scheduling Practice, but also introduce features completely new to the Practice's consumers and providers. Comprehensive and innovative, ICS is a breath of fresh air for the Scheduling Practice. And what provides consistency and credence across ICS' diverse set of products and services is our seminal work, the ICS-Compendium. Taken as a whole, in the very truest sense, ICS is the international center of construction planning and scheduling.

A Work in Progress

Every construction project is built, one activity at a time. So it is with ICS. What you see on this page is our Master Plan, the Great Vision, the Big Picture. But we're not fully operational yet. Instead, we are methodically rolling out one component at a time. Please be patient with us as we grow!
